KnivesReview.com is an independent knife review and education publication dedicated to helping buyers make informed decisions about knives. We cover every category — kitchen knives, EDC folders, fixed blades, outdoor knives, and knife maintenance — with a consistent focus on accurate technical information and honest assessments.
Our Mission
The knife content on the internet is dominated by two problems: affiliate-driven reviews that praise everything, and enthusiast content that assumes levels of knowledge most buyers don't have. We aim to fill the space between: honest evaluations written in plain language, grounded in real testing and genuine expertise, that treat readers as intelligent adults capable of making their own decisions.
How We Test
Our reviews are based on hands-on testing by people who actually use knives. We test kitchen knives through real cooking tasks — not just cutting paper. We test EDC knives through real carry and use. We test outdoor knives in outdoor conditions. Where possible, we verify steel hardness claims through third-party testing rather than accepting manufacturer specifications at face value.
We don't accept free products in exchange for positive reviews. When manufacturers send products for review, they are assessed with the same standard as anything we purchase ourselves — and we disclose when products were provided for review.
